CROSSWAYS Travel has a new series of tours using motels and quality lodges, and has combined these accommodation services with their popular safari-style meals prepared by on-board cooks.
Initially this style was developed for the popular Crossways tour to Darwin, Kakadu, Kununurra, Alice Springs, Ayers Rock and Coober Pedy. Other destinations now include Western Australia and Tasmania.
The tours complement Crossways' wide range of fully accommodated tours which vary in length from two to 24 days and cover destinations to Kangaroo Island, Great Ocean Road, the Barossa Festival and Fraser Island.
Crossways also operates a range of camping tours, the most popular of these being to central Australia and Lightning Ridge.
Crossways is a small company offering friendly escorted tours on board four luxury Austral coaches. Details from Crossways on (042) 271077.
